Spinal Decompression

Non-surgical traction is a chiropractic tool to treat lower back pain to correct problems in the spine. The specific conditions treated include:

Sciatica: which causes back, neck pain, weakness or tingling in the leg

Degenerative Disk Disease: which causes bulging or herniated disks

Posterior Facet Syndrome: which happens when your spinal joints become worn down

Injured or diseased spinal nerve roots: can cause sensation of constant pain or tingling

Spinal Decompression Table

Spinal decompression therapy takes place on a unique table with a cable and pulley system as a way of creating traction to the spine. The procedure is for the patient to lie face down on the table, and your pelvis is fitted with a harness, and the patient is strapped to the table. The pulley system is motorized, and the therapy session is computerized. The protocol of therapeutic techniques using the table varies with each patient's needs. Ringer Chiropractic has successfully used this type of technique for over twenty years.
